Skinny Boy...

DH took WP to the doctor's yesterday for his 9 month checkup.  The doctor said that WP is perfect (well of course we already knew that :)).  WP is starting to develop the slightest case of stranger anxiety and apparently this kicked into full gear when the doctor tried to measure how tall WP is. So our best guess is that WP is around 28.5 inches long which means he's grown an inch in the last two months and 8.5 inches since birth!!  He is becoming a little string bean as he becomes mobile so much so that his pants are falling off, but he needs the bigger size because of his height...what is a Mom to do???  Anyway, WP weighs in at 19.2 lbs so he has just 2.4 lbs away from tripling his birth weight!! 

As far as WP's lack of teeth is concerned, the doctor does not seem concerned so Mommy is trying to scale back her fears that WP is going to be a toothless baby forever.  He continues to exhibit all of the signs of a teething baby...constant drooling, tight gums, chewing on anything and everything he can get his hands on but still no teeth in sight.

So WP is our perfect, skinny, toothless 9 month old...

and with those big eyes, how could anyone disagree???

9 Months Old Today...Is It Possible?!?!

Today is WP's 9-monthday!! At 9 months old, WP can pull himself up to stand, just started eating Yo-Baby yogurt, talks non-stop, crawls faster than the speed of light (or at least it feels that way, especially when he is trying to get somewhere Mommy or Daddy told him he couldn't go...), loves playing with his toy baseball bat and basketball hoop and his drum. WP also enjoys crawling through his barn door and onto Rocko's dog bed. He goes for his 9 month checkup on Friday so look for updated weight and height measurements.
