Our Church - Wieuca Road Baptist Church
I was worried that WP would not handle the dedication ceremony well given that the custom in our Church is for our pastor to take the babies and walk them up and down the aisles of the church...thankfully, WP was a perfect angel!!! Here are a few pictures of our handsome boy.

The next few pictures are from after the ceremony - sorry for the sun interference (yes, we actually had a sunny day in Atlanta!!)

In other news this weekend, WP got the first round of the swine flu shot. That was an experience!!! Our pediatrician's office only had 100 H1N1 shots for babies aged 6 months to 2 years old and they announced that the office would be holding a flu shot clinic this Saturday (11/14) between 1-4 pm. My mom and I arrived at the doctor's office at 11 figuring we would probably need to get in line before 1 to be guaranteed a shot...we were so right.
The first person arrived at 8:00 a.m. and by the time Mom, WP and I left, the line was out the building and winding into the massive parking garage attached next to the doctor's office - there must have been well over 500 people in line (is this a glimpse into our future if government run health care becomes a reality????)
Luckily, WP was patient number 28 and he received his shot. However, that does not guarantee him a second shot (babies under 2 need two shots to make sure the vaccine takes full effect) so we will be waiting in another line later this year.
I wish I had my camera with me yesterday to capture the insanity that accompanied the flu clinic. But just know that it was a madhouse and people were extremely anxious and some were quite obnoxious. But even with all of that, standing in line from 11:00 am until about 1:30 was well worth the wait to ensure that WP got his shot...it really is true parents will do anything for their kids.
Finally, WP received a wonderful gift from his Grandpa Page on Friday night...
