On Friday, DH, WP, Rocko and I made the trip to South Carolina for the weekend. When the Clemson football schedule came out in January, DH and I decided that the October 17th home game versus Wake Forest would be the perfect time to take WP to Clemson for his first game.
For anyone who has been to Clemson during the fall, you know why we decided to wait until the season was half over. We figured by the middle of October the weather would have cooled down enough to make the day comfortable for WP. We could not have been more right, Saturday's temperature - a brisk 51 degrees!!!
So we bundled up in as many layers as possible and headed over to Clemson, a.k.a. God's Country.
First stop...our tailgate better known as the Usual Tailgaters. It's a bunch of DH's fraternity brothers and their significant others and families. Below is a couple shots of the trailer complete with TVs, Itunes and kegs!!

WP was really warm, Mommy not so much :(
We could not have asked for a better game...right from the start Clemson dominated and played like they actually knew what they were doing!!! It was so much fun to see Clemson do well - final score 38-3 Clemson!!!
WP was in awe of all the sounds and the orange, he was checking everything and everyone out...including the nachos the boys next to us were eating. He did really well which was nice. Amazingly, he took two naps once in the stadium and even tolerated Mommy changing his diaper during halftime. Hopefully, it will be a little warmer when we go back for the Clemson/FSU game November 7!!
